2011 - Digital Planet, took part in TÜBİTAK Success Story Sharing Days
In 22th of April, Istanbul, TÜBİTAK hosted a reunion with the aim of providing a platform where future's science candidates who have already achieved a great success in fields of science, technology and innovation, had a chance to share their success stories with the public opinion. Digital Planet was also a part of this comunitee.
This reunion targeted conceiving withitness of the innovations performed in the past years and increasing the encouragement of R&D activities performed by companies who strive to be at the forefront of advancing technologies.
In this gathering where the companies who conduct R&D activities have had a chance to come together, Digital Planet took an opportunity of presenting its category winner product Netvault as far as having a chance to closely learn about the other R&D activies. 150 projects choosen out of nearly 6.000 projects which were carried within the years of 2005 and 2010, were verbally presented by the project developers sharing the experiences and achievements.
2011 - Digital Planet participated in R&D Days held by Marmara University
With a history stretching back over years, Marmara University is one of the most remarkable universites throughout the country. The Technology Research and Development Club of Marmara University along with another club called Marmara Young Vision, have organized the second Marmara R&D Days in May 4-5 2011 with the participation of companies performing R&D activies in several different fields.
For university students to understand the importance of R&D activities, companies taking part in this organization aimed to explain students R&D is important for a company to prosper and grow, it must do more than keep up with its competitors and it must in fact get ahead of them whenever possible. Getting ahead meaning innovation which hinges on research and development (R&D).
2011 - THE EXPANSION OF THE EXISTING E-INVOICE INFRASTRUCTURE OF VODAFONE
New Generation UBL Projects are completed.
Positioning customer satisfaction to the focus of all processes, Vodafone has adopted SAP Integration utilities project with the consultancy of Digital Planet. The design and the infrastructure of Vodafone UBL E-Invoice Integration is completed according to up-to-date requisitions.
This project, within the constitution of Vodafone, is capable of generating UBL E-Invoice utterly complying with the statements of Ministry of Finance and creating the acknowledged document standard. Apart from the invoices generated on CCB, the invoices existing on SAP, will also be incorporated in Legal E-Invoice Systems fully complying with UBL and EFKS. The Netinvoice Web-Service infrastructure is used for Invoice delivery/querying/canceling/accepting/rejection and reporting.
What is UBL?
Universal Business Language (UBL) is a library of documents for business transactions and are electornic XML files with a standard structure, which is suitable and designed from the view of small to medium sized organization as well as big organizations. Invoices and purchase orders are examples for UBL files. UBL contains 31 documents which describes extended scenarios and general transportation processes. UBL is basically plug directly into existing business, legal, auditing and records management practices. It's is designed to eliminate the re-keying of data in existing fax- and paper-based business correspondence and provide an entry point into electronic commerce.
2011 - TURKISH POST HYBRID MAIL IMPLEMENTATION
Hybrid Mail was implemented in Turkish Post by Digital Planet more than a year ago, having the privilidge of being the “first” to implement Hybrid Mail.
Turkish Post (TURKISH POST), keeping pace with the developing techonology, carried out the biggest project of Hybrid Mail System offered by Digital Planet with end-to-end solution Netpost, in essence of the technologic investments.

From now on, by this sytem Turkish Post will be able to receive the invoices, any type of commercial papers, statements, booklets and so forth on online enviroment, print out these documents by their own infrastructure, envelope and send it to the intended address.
The configuration of this system was carried out by Turkish Post itself, in the chief executive offices of Turkish cities such as İzmir, Mersin and Erzurum to give its customers service in excellence. This adventagous system will be disposed accross the country.
Hence, by Hybrid Mail’s opportunity of collaboratively sending option, Turkish Post reduces waste of time, cost, exerts less workforce and enables faster service. Additionally, renders “tracking every phase of delivery” possible.
2011 - Turkish Telecom, VODAFONE, TTNET MINISTRY OF FINANCE UBL PROJECTS COMPLETED
Apart from Vodafone, new generation UBL projects of Ttnet and Turkish Telecom are wholly completed and compatible with Ministry of Finance standards. Turkish Telecom is first in Turkey to carry out UBL Integration.
2010 - UMUR BASIM VE KIRTASİYE A.Ş. CARRIES OUT DIGITAL PLANET’S CCM SOLUTIONS
CCM Solutions offered by Digital Planet are now being used by Umur Basım ve Kırtasiye A.Ş, a Turkish company which conducts business to post-sales services with an approach to print management that provides quality services and meets the expectations of today’s business world, both in terms of speed and quality.
Umur Basım ve Kırtasiye A.Ş. aims to increase the variation of services and transpromo activities (TransPromo is a cocktail of personalized promotional messages with must-read transactional documents such as statements, invoices, explanations of benefits, policy notifications and other customer-facing documents including receipts and point of sale/purchase documents. By including color, graphics and customer relationship management (CRM) data) will variate its services using CCM Solutions.
2009 - Turkish Telecom EXPANDS ITS E-INVOICE STRUCTURE ADDING DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER
With Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) application, in accordance with cloud-computing, that Turkish Telecom has carried out under the solutions of Digital Planet, Turkish Telecom will maximise the service quality it presents to its customers.
Turkish Telecom which has the biggest archiving database in Turkey, is now capable of duplicating its archiving database, wherefore backing-up, adapting increasing customer requirements. Along with duplicating the system, due to archiving, DRC gives all the opportunities in the process of invoice generation and all the systems are replicated online.
We were at the stage of managing with Turkey’s highest volumed archiving system. Now we’re beyond that and configuring different applications like, DRC.
Turkish Telecom uses DRC in order to recover access to their software, data that are needed to resume the performance of critical business functions after the event of a disaster either caused by humans or nature.
Moreover, Turkish Telecom will not face any problems coping with the sudden and/or unexpected loss of key personnel as well as how to recover their data.
2009 - KOÇNET CHOOSES DIGITAL PLANET E-INVOICE SYSTEMS

2008 - A “FIRST” IN TURKEY, BRAILLE SYSTEM IS ACTIVE FOR Turkish Telecom

First time in Turkey, very few and an exceptional project in the whole world, Turkish Telecom is consent to get acquainted with a brand new innovation for blind people, print out the Braille invoice service available for blind customers.
What is a braille invoice service?
Braille was devised in 1825 by Louis Braille, a blind Frenchman. Each Braille character, or cell, is made up of six dot positions, arranged in a rectangle containing two columns of three dots each. A dot may be raised at any of the six positions to form sixty-four possible subsets, including the arrangement in which no dots are raised. For reference purposes, a particular permutation may be described by naming the positions where dots are raised, the positions being universally numbered 1 to 3, from top to bottom, on the left, and 4 to 6, from top to bottom, on the right. For example, dots 1-3-4 (⠍) would describe a cell with three dots raised, at the top and bottom in the left column and on top of the right column, i.e., the letter m. The lines of horizontal Braille text are separated by a space, much like visible printed text, so that the dots of one line can be differentiated from the Braille text above and below. 2008 - Full-color IJPDS application in ING Bank!

You might wonder what an IJPDS application refers to. IJPDS stands for "ink jet Printer Data Stream." IJPDS is a proprietary Scitex file format for print jobs. An IJPDS file contains:
-Control data and commands that identify the data's characteristics and position the printed image on the document.
-Image data, consisting of the text and graphics to be printed.
